Published in PNAS, the detection of CISS in photo-driven radical pairs based on short DNA hairpins

 Time-resolved electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy of the radical ion pairs produced following
photoexcitation of the DNA hairpin linker shows that CISS significantly influences the spin transferred through the hairpins.
